U.S. Energy Statistics

U.S. energy production and consumption statistics point toward the impact of energy efficiency on the national economy and the small, but growing presence of renewable energy in the mix of energy supplies.

Here you can compare graphs of economic and energy consumption indicators for states that you choose. These indicators, which represent ratios of energy consumption per capita and per dollar of economic output, give you a historical summary of the energy efficiency of the energy consuming sectors in each state. You can also see where states rank for energy production from renewable energy resources.
