Program description: The Enterprise is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to creating high-skill, high-wage jobs in Mississippi. The Enterprise taps the scientific and technical assets of the state to promote industrial growth, stimulate new business start-ups, and attract companies to Mississippi.
Enterprise tenant companies maintain an office at the Stennis Space Center and receive an integrated suite of services including office space with administrative support and ongoing access to technical experts and facilities.
The Enterprise provides business with access to the vast array of technical resources at Mississippi's colleges and universities, the NASA John C. Stennis Space Center and other federal laboratories across the U.S.
Industrial problem solving is provided by the engineering and scientific faculties at the universities in conjunction with technical support staffs of NASA, the U.S. Navy and other agencies on-site at Stennis.
Through the Enterprise, companies can use mechanical and electrical shops, specialized analytic laboratories, and sophisticated test equipment to help special problems or develop new products.
Assistance is available to Mississippi businesses in areas important to entrepreneural development and strategic planning.
