The center conducts manufacturing research, transfers manufacturing technology to industry, and supports educational efforts in manufacturing. Currently funded with an annual recurring budget of $2.6 million, CRMS generates external funding to support its research activities from federal and state agencies, foundations, and corporations. Since 1993, the center has received $3.65 million in grants and contracts.
