Program description: TechHelp is a not-for-profit organization which operates as a partnership between the University of Idaho, Idaho State University, and Boise State University. It is affiliated with the national network of Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) Centers.
TechHelp's mission is to provide technical assistance, training, and information to strengthen the competitiveness of Idaho manufacturers through product and process improvements.
TechHelp finds solutions for Idaho manufacturers primarily through one-on-one contact with companies. This contact ranges from major collaborative projects, which usually address a fundamental challenge facing the company, to smaller "value-added" projects, which typically bring a specific improvement to some aspect of company operations.
Core services address: human performance, business systems, process improvement, quality systems, marketing, information technology, and product development.
