Program description: The Delaware Technology Assistance Program serves as the centralized source for information and assistance for Delaware's technology-based business community. DETAP advisors provide counseling and information in both management and technology, to sharpen the focus and accelerate the development of technology-based small businesses. The Delaware Technology Assistance Program was created to encourage, promote, stimulate and support research and development activity leading to commercialization of new technology products and services. Examples of DETAP services include technology and company assessments, market research, funding sources, preliminary patent searches, SBIR/STTR assistance and technology transfer.
