These are EERE's recent multinational activities that involve countries from across the world.
The Major Economies Meeting
The Major Economies Meetings on Energy Security and Climate Change were held to discuss the long-term challenges of global climate change. It included representatives from Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, South Korea, South Africa, United Kingdom, the European Union, the EC, the European Community, and the United Nations.
The first meeting was held on September 27-28, 2007, and the second was held on January 30, 2008. The third Major Economies Meeting is scheduled for April, 2008.

The United Nations Climate Change Conference: Conference of the Parties 13
Assistant Secretary Alexander Karsner represented the United States in the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Bali, Indonesia. This international event led to the Bali Action Plan, which outlines international energy goals that will take place after the Kyoto Protocol.
