The Golden Field Office is co-located with the National
Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Denver West Office Park Building
15.
From Denver International Airport (approximately
34 miles)
Follow Pena Boulevard (the airport access road) to
Interstate 70 West. Follow Interstate 70 West for approximately
20 miles, and take the Denver West Boulevard exit (exit 263).
At the end of the ramp, turn left at the stoplight
onto Denver West Marriott Boulevard. Proceed to the second set of
lights and turn left onto Cole Boulevard.
Follow Cole Boulevard for approximately 1/2 mile.
On your left will be the entrance for Buildings 15, 16 and 17. Turn
left into the parking lot of Building 15.
From the Rocky Mountains and points west
Take I-70 heading east and then take the Denver West
Boulevard exit (exit 263).
At the top of the exit ramp, turn right onto Denver
West Marriott Boulevard. Proceed to the next set of lights and turn
left onto Cole Boulevard.
Follow Cole Boulevard for approximately 1/2 mile.
On your left will be the entrance for Buildings 15, 16 and 17. Turn
left into the parking lot of Building 15.
Security Procedure
Park in one of the designated visitor's parking spaces
(if available) at Building 15 and proceed to the Building 17 front entrance (follow the signs). All visitors to Golden must check-in
with the NREL receptionist on the ground floor of Building 17 to
receive a visitor's badge. Visitors are required to show government-issued
photo identification (i.e., drivers license, passport, military
ID). Your Golden host will then be called to escort you.
