Distributed energy equipment guide — Provided by the California Energy Commission. Choose a technology, then select the "vendor" link.
Distributed energy selector — This tool suggests the best DE technology for a given application and geographical area by drawing on a database of more than 600 DE products. Additional parameters can be used to provide a more precise match. Provided by the Consumer Energy Council of America's Distributed Energy Forum. CHP for Buildings: Case Studies — This database is searchable by state, city, building type, generation type, generation capacity, and thermal recovery system type.
CHP installations — Information on CHP units installed in each state.
Distributed Energy Case Study Database — This database includes a variety of distributed energy case studies searchable by state, market sector, size, prime mover, thermal energy use, and fuel type.
Distributed Energy Program R&D Portfolio — State-by-state information on distributed energy projects overseen by DOE's Distributed Energy Program.

Database of State Incentives for Renewable Energy — A comprehensive source of information on state, local, utility, and selected federal incentives that promote renewable energy.
Regulatory Requirements for Small Electric Generators — State-by-state information on emissions regulations; state environmental regulations; siting regulations; exit fees; standby rates; building, zoning and fire codes; ammonia storage issues; reporting requirements; economic incentives, and interconnection requirements.
