Workshop Summary
The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Power Technologies, through the Office of Distributed Energy
Resources and the Philadelphia Regional Office hosted a collaborative workshop in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
This was a results oriented workshop, and its purpose was to gather recommendations on the implementation needs
for DER and how DOE can collaborate with industry and government agencies to meet those needs. The participants
represented a broad group of professionals, including regional electricity providers, DER developers, commercial
and industrial customers, and state and federal energy programs.
