The following direct final rule amending the clothes washer test procedure will take effect on January 1, 2004, if no significant adverse comments are received in response to the concurrently published Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NOPR). Please submit any comments on the NOPR for the clothes washer test procedure by December 1, 2003.
