Public Meeting on Developing Energy Conservation Standards for Battery Chargers and External Power Supplies

The Department of Energy (the Department) is proposing to develop energy conservation standards for battery chargers and external power supplies. To that end, the Department will be holding an informal public meeting to discuss and receive comments on its plans to develop these standards.

The Department will accept comments, data, and information related to this rulemaking before and after the meeting, but no later than February 12, 2007.

To Submit Comments

You may submit comments electronically, by hand delivery, by mail, or by courier until February 12, 2007. Wherever possible, comments in the electronic format should carry the electronic signature of the author. Absent an electronic signature, comments submitted electronically must be followed and authenticated by submitting a signed original paper document.
