Pursuant to Part C of Title III of the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (EPCA), the Department of Energy (DOE) promulgates a rule prescribing test procedures to rate the energy efficiency of warm air furnaces. This rule also recodifies existing commercial warm air furnace energy conservation standards so that they are located contiguous with the test procedures that DOE published concurrently.
